Teagan Moore, baritone, is making his West Bay Opera debut singing the role of Schaunard in La bohème this October. This past July, he sang the role of the Vater, in Hänsel und Gretel with Arosa Musik Theater’s Kulturkreis in Arosa, Switzerland. He has also sung the role of Bob in The Old Maid and the Thief by G.C. Menotti with the Humboldt Light Opera Company. Mr. Moore has appeared as baritone (bass) soloist for many oratorio performances including Faure’s Requiem with the St. Eugene’s Cathedral Choir and Orchestra in Santa Rosa, California; Handel’s Messiah with the Sacramento Choral Society and with the Humboldt Light Opera Company; Brahms’ Requiem with the Eureka Symphony; Bach’s Mass in B minor with the Humboldt Light Opera Company; and as Baritone Cantor in Bloch’s Avodath Hakodesh, Sacred Service in Hebrew with the Humboldt Chorale and Symphony. Mr. Moore has also performed the roles of Avrahm in Fiddler on the Roof and as Maximillian in a concert version of Bernstein’s Candide. He lives in the Bay Area with his wife and three daughters. |
